A cultural and historical introduction of the Yazidi people by Yazidi international professional experts will be followed by international experiential experts: Genocide victim/survivors at home and in the diaspora will share their experiences and insights as men, boys, women and girls during and after the genocide, and a call for reparative justice for current and future generations. Arabic-English Translation will be provided Speakers: Shireen Shekh Kalo, BA A Yezidi mother of two, Shireen lives in Germany. She is a writer, poet, and researcher who has published a collection of short stories in Arabic and a book about the Yazidi Genocide on August 3, 2014 in English.
